Monterey & Carmel
A Romantic Micro-Adventure
There are no limits to the adventures you can have in California. From climbing mountains, discovering hidden backcountry trails, to secret surf spots, and hidden lakes. But sometimes all you need is a little getaway where you are able to relax, get outside a bit, and not think about how long the hike will take you, how heavy your pack is, or where you’ll be laying your head for the night.
Mike and I took a well needed weekend trip down to Monterey and Carmel that wasn’t for work or a wedding - just the two of us hanging out doing activities where we didn’t have to really plan in advance for anything. It was quite spectacular.
